Allardyce : Newcastle Thrown Into Chaos...

Former Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce claims he is glad to be out of St James' Park after accusing owner Mike Ashley of trying to make a quick buck from the club. Allardyce was in charge of the Magpies when Ashley took over in June 2007 before being dumped the following January in favour of Kevin Keegan.

Ashley himself is now looking to leave St James' Park after putting the club up for sale following angry protests from supporters in the wake of Keegan's resignation last month. But Allardyce has little sympathy for the sportswear retailer after criticising his motives for getting involved with the Tyneside club.

And here what Big Sam has told :
"It is crystal clear now what the motives were for Mike Ashley. I think that he did buy the club in the hope that he could quickly sell it on for a vast profit. It is going from bad to horrendous and there is part of me that thinks I'm glad I'm out of it. I thought Kevin was going to get the money I didn't get, but the continuous sales and players moving in and out over the summer obviously caused him to conclude the job was untenable and the club was thrown into chaos."
