Profile : Paul Ince


Paul Emerson Carlyle Ince is the new Blackburn Rovers manager. He is the former player of Manchester United and won 2 English Premier League and 2 FA Cup. He is the product of West Ham United youth system, he draw the attention of Sir Alex Ferguson. From West Ham United to Manchester United for 1 million Pounds and played 6 seasons for them. Next he played for Inter Milan where he was sold for 8 million Pounds by Ferguson, Liverpool and Middlesbrough FC and finally he ended his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2006. He played 53 matches for England from 1992-2000. He is the first black player to captain the England team. He packs some powerful shots, snapping tackles and raking passes.
In 2006, Paul Ince got his first ever managerial post for Swindon Town on one year contract but after couple of months Swindon had terminated the ince contract on mutual consent and he joind Macclesfield Town as manager. After 1 year stint in Macclesfield he joined Milton Keynes Dons, after joining some months later he was being linked to move to Wigan Athletic, Derby County and Norwich City. And now he is manager for EPL club Blackburn Rovers.
So under him he have 2 years of managerial experince which is in Second Division of English football. Now the question arise is that will Ince survive the battle of survival. Coz he never coached EPL clubs in top flight. This is the club when they won the EPL in 1994-1995 season.
Now he need to handle the players like Brad Friedel, Roque Santa Cruz, David Bentley, Paul Gallagher, David Dunn, Benni Mc Carthy, Johan Voggel, Stephen Warnock and Andre Ooijer. And moreoverly, how he reacts and deploy the tactics in transfer window. As of now they have released 3 players in Stephen Henchoz, Bruno Berner and Peter Enckelman, but as of now they havent signed any single player. Lets wait and see what Ince will do in transfer window and how he starts the new EPL season which will start on August 16 against Everton in Goodison Park.
