Tottenham To Secure Villa, Arshavin & Corluka...

Tottenham Hotspur manager Juande Ramos will continue his summer spending spree with a triple swoop for David Villa, Andrei Arshavin and Vedran Corluka, according to reports in the UK press. However, if Spurs want to secure all three deals they will have to stump up another £60million, having already spent £40million on five players during the transfer window. Yes, Spurs are linked with on average 120 players every second, but with good reason. They have after all already signed some quality players already this summer and, if they were to collect these three as well, then they could well have a shot at breaking the Premier League top four monopoly.

Obviously the capture of Corluka is most likely to be completed as the other two are long-running sagas that could be running out of steam. It is a very exciting time at White Hart Lane at present and, even though they could end up losing both their prized top strikers, they have enough in the way of incoming talent to make up for such a loss, especially if Ramos completes this dream trio! Do Spurs fans think that a top four finish is a more likely target than at any time.
