Van der Vaart : Now Real Madrid's Asset...

Netherlands and SV Hamburger Midfielder Rafael Van der Vaart agreed a 20 Million Dollar to Spanish Giants Real Madrid.

Van der Vaart was born to Spanish Mother and Dutch father in Heemskerk in North Netherlands on February 11, 1983. He is the youth product of AFC Ajax Amsterdam, where he spent 7 seasons. At the age of 10 he was enrolled in the Ajay youth system. And at the age of 17 he made debut for Ajax in 1999-2000 season. In the 2004-2005 season he was named as the captain of Ajax by then coach Ronald Koeman and later December his captaincy was stripped by Koeman for his poor performance. In 2005 he was sold to German club SV Hamburg for 5.5 million Euros. After a season he was captained for Hamburg SV after becoming a leading goal scorer for Hamburg in the 2005-2006 season. Van der Vaart led his team out of the relegation zone with a series of victories over Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and Schalke 04. Riding Van der Vaart waves of form through to the end of the season. Hamburg finished in the 7th place.
Van der Vaart's great performance have drawn the attention of Europen giants Chelsea, Inter Milan and Valencia. As a player with great performance he couldnt won any of the Cups for his Ajax or Hamburg club nor for his country. Still he is 25, a plenty of time left in him to lift the Cups for his club and as well for his Country. Hopefully, this season he could win La Liga and as well UEFA Champions League for Real Madrid.
